Art Recipes defies taking excerpts because it tells how in two languages, Ukrainian and English, and it illustrates how with excellent pictures of the children creating their art and their delightful pieces. Author: Alice Brew is a volunteer with Peace Corps Ukraine, Group 24, working in Vinnytsia for NGO ‘Nadiya’, a rehabilitation center for children with severe mental disabilities. She is a business consultant, art teacher, and a registered art therapist. She comes from Phoenix, Arizona. Alice has an elementary teaching degree from Wheelock College, Boston, MA, a Masters in Art Education from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ, and a Masters in Creative Art Therapy from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA.


"Translator: Laryssa  lives in Vinnytsia, and is one of  the publishers of a colorfully painted new children’s magazine called ‘Fun with English’ which features games, poems and special ways to learn English. She is a teacher of English, Polish, and German and a graduate of the Vinnytsia Pedagogical University with a Master’s degree in foreign languages.


"Photographer: Andrew Hamilton was a Peace Corps Volunteer, Group 23 and worked in Vinnytsia at the National Polytechnical University. He taught English classes in business and finance. Andrew comes from Travers City, Michigan, and graduated from William and Mary College with a degree in business.


"Graphic Designer: Valentyna Bezdushna lives in Vinnytsia and is a graduate of the National Polytechnical University with a college degree in engineering. She has taught computer studies and design for a number of years and has projects in graphic design, photography and advertisement. She intends to create her own design studio.”
